The Walsingham Gallery in Newburyport offers the finest impressionist and post impressionist works between Portland Maine and The MFA. New England is the land of art galleries., but Walsingham is an exceptional experience.

The Walsingham Gallery has a wonderful selection of fine art and sculptures, in all price ranges. Every time we visit the gallery, there are new painting, new artist…it is very refreshing! We have a collection from this gallery.

I have frequented the Walsingham Gallery many times and have spoken to the artists at the gallery receptions that the owners present periodically. Some of the artists have said it is the best art gallery that they have shown their work in including New York. Many of the artists’ peices are juried by the Boston Guild and Copley. The Gallery itself is beautiful and serves as an important cultural addition to Newburyport and the North Shore. Art is such a rich expression of our lives and our culture. I am thrilled to have such a fine gallery in our area.

Sandy Lepore has fostered an awareness of North Shore artists, and showcased works by Newburyport and Merrimac Valley artists.
