My birthday cake was from Eat Cake! in Newburyport, it was a surprise, so I had no choice in the decision of what kind it would be. Let me tell you, the individualized care and concern of the decoration on the outside was only the beginning. Once the cake was cut, it was evident I would never order a cake from anywhere else ever again. The white chocolate cake inside the white chocolate butter cream was such a simple yet fantasticly flavored combination!
Therefore my vote will always go to Eat Cake!

Hands down it’s Cakes 4 all Occasions. They have been able to accomadate me regarding every occasion the we have had. The beer Stein cake is unbelievable and so is the hamburger.
Those were bigs hits with my crowd at the summertime. Since they know I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 20 years they love coming over to see what is next in the sweet dept.
The last cake they did for me was for my brothers 60th. It was with all the presents and it was a golf related theme. Oh, and we did do my nieces high school graduation.
The cakes are very moist and the frosting is not over the to sweet. it’s just perfece. She is a 1 in my book.
A must try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This past week at a local fundraiser event I had a chocolate fudge cupcake, dipped in ganache (sp?) and topped with this crazy peanut butter mousse from ‘Eat Cake’ in Newbuyport. It was the best cupcake I have ever had, and I have had cakes from all of the other cake places in town. http://www.HorribleCookies.com gets our vote. The name “Horrible Cookies” is a huge play on words and can throw you at first. A bite into their cookies will have you spinning with “WOW”, they are definately the best cookies I’ve ever tasted - EVER!
Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Truffle - “Horribles” are my favorite.
Chocolate Peanut Butter - “Passions” are my Fiancees favorite.
They have other varieties and growing. The best part of this company is that 25% of all of their sales, from now until June 14th, 2009, will go to Children’s Hospital in Boston.
My Fiancee and I attended the Passport to Style at the Cambridgeside Galleria last night and met the Sales & Marketing Director. We will be ordering these cookies not only for unique gifts for our friends and family over they years, but also to have at our wedding.
Great company, great people, great product, worth a try! They are just starting out, if you agree with my vote, chime in and give HorribleCookies.com your vote too. It’s easy to vote and you don’t have to be as wordy as me. I’m in Sales and wanted to offer HorribleCookies.com a worthy “plug” with my vote. This company will be a household name faster than you can imagine once they get the word out.
Take time to enjoy a Horrible Cookie from HorribleCookies.com!
Have a great day!

I would like to nominate the PLUM ISLAND COOKIE COMPANY for best sweets. The cookies the owner, Dawn Shay, bakes are the best gourmet butter cookie I have ever had the pleasure of eating. A dear friend had them at her bridal shower..each sand dollar exquisitely packaged and wrapped with a beautiful rafia bow. She also does baby feet for baby showers as well as the newborns at the local hospital. JUST CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF THEM!!!
