I also vote for Cakes by Design Edible Art. Lina made the most amazing train shaped cake for my twins second birthday. I sent her a photo of a cake that I saw on the net, and she was so accomodating. Her attention to detail is unbeliveable. You wouldn’t believe how many people still ask me where I got that cake. It was delicious and looked so fantastic that I felt bad cutting it. It truly was the hit of the party.

You have to check out the website; Lina’s work is amazing!!!

    Hello everyone,

I would like to nominate the most amazing chocolate store I have ever encounterd. It is called “The Chocolate Truffle”, I used to be a Lindt Chocolate fan, but The Chocolate Truffle has won me twice over.
They have the most amazing hand dipped chocolates & their gourmet/speciality items are phenominal. Definately worth the trip to one of their stores, you will not be disappointed. Check them out they are located in Reading, Lynnfield and they just opened a new store in Winchester Center. YUMMY :)

This past week at a local fundraiser event I had a chocolate fudge cupcake, dipped in ganache (sp?) and topped with this crazy peanut butter mousse from ‘Eat Cake’ in Newbuyport. It was the best cupcake I have ever had, and I have had cakes from all of the other cake places in town. Nothing even comes remotely close to this. “As if they came down from a higher league” is a phrase I would use to describe the cake from Eat Cake!

BUTTERCREAM bakery is like no other. Its boutique like atmosphere, the friendly staff, and of course the variety of baked goods available are nothing short of outstanding. Treating yourself to a Sunday morning sticky bun is like no other experience. Michelle and her team put a new meaning in the dictionary for delicious.
