Brewery

For a wicked good brew fit for Gloucester’s finest sailors and fishermen, nothing beats a “Beer on the Pier” by the docks of America’s oldest seaport at the Cape Ann Brewing Company. The Fisherman’s IPA is a favorite, handcrafted from two-row barley imported from Europe. See how it’s done on Mondays for homebrew night.

Cape Ann Brewing Company is the best brewery on the North Shore! The quality of their products is incredible, and the brewers are so knowledgeable and creative with their flavors. Each Monday they offer Home Brew Night which allows people like me to come in and learn the craft. Incredible beer, incredible staff. I’m going there today!

Cape Ann Brewing is awesome. We sadly only get up there once a month to fill our growlers but we’d go 3 times a week if we could.

The Tap is hands down the best. Jon Curtis is always brewing a couple of different brews to go along with the flagship lineup. Plus they put on a cask ale every week.

It’s gotta be Mercury! Home to Ipswich Ale and all of it is brewed entirely in Ipswich!

I vote for Mercury Brewing Co. in Ipswich. Their IPA is one of the best in the country! They also do so many social events in the old time summer baseball games, Chowderfest, Green Meadows picnic, etc.

Cape Ann Brewing Co. without a doubt. Great, freshly brewed beer, friendly and fun atmosphere and they are active in supporting and enriching the community. They have crested a family friendly environment and I often take my son there to play darts, shuffleboard or board games which reminds me of when my father used take me to a place where we played shuffleboard when I was growing up.

Cape Ann Brewery has the warmest atmosphere with a great crew to meet your needs and friendliest clientele; of course, they have my favorate brew on tap “Tea Party” (no politics involved) or if not a great Fisherman’s Brew

Cape Ann Brewery is one of a kind, head and shoulders above the crowd. They make DELICIOUS, hand-crafted, beers with local history and culture included in the brand and the taste. Everything they do is then promoting our community and they back that up by making their brewery a gathering place for knitting night, raw night, trivia night and whatever other excuse they can come up with to get people down there for fun and beer. These guys also support good causes with fund-raising support and partner with local restaurants in a win-win way. Having these guys here on Cape Ann is a real blessing but even if you don’t live here, Fishermen’s Brew is fantastic as a beer in its own right. Cape Ann Brewery gets my wholehearted, enthusiastic (is that redundant?) support!!!!

Cape Ann Brewery in Gloucester, MA is the best brew pub around. It has a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. It is also an extremely comfortable place to hang out to chat or play a game while enjoying the best hand crafted brews on Cape Ann as well as the North Shore.

Cape Ann Brewery! The beer, people, & atmosphere can’t be beat. Where else can you get a pumpkin stout served out of a 250 lb pumpkin on halloween? PS watch out for that Greenhorn Double IPA clocking in at 9% alcohol. So tasty, it could be dangerous!

Cape Ann Brewery provides a source for a high quality selection of the finest fresh brews on the North Shore and a proud representative of the micro brew industry. Their products provide others with a new standard in customer satisfying products. Ask your local bar or beverage provider for their selection.

Cape Ann Brwing company, A 78 VW bus with dual drafts on one side and the green monster score board on the other. This alone would set them apart. But now add the brew pub culture that has been created on a foundation of creative craft beers and passionate people.
    cheers

There should be two different categories for this section, because beer from a bottle has nothing to do with beer on tap.

Mercury Brewing (Ipswich) when heading to the packie… Ipswich Ale is one of the finest pale ales mankind has created. Not too sweet, not overwhelmingly hoppy. Just plain good.

The Tap (Haverhill) for brewpub. Great seasonals. There’s nothing like sitting on their deck in the summer while sipping a cool, house-brewed Berlinerweiss. Although, I am waiting with baited breath for the Ipswich brewpub to get up and running. The Tap may just have some competition.

Not much love for the Merrimack Valley up in here, huh? Respect to Cape Ann, though. Good, solid beers.
