My home town Haverhill, MA!

Thank you for the review. Great to see the beautiful pictures and read about my stomping grounds.

Today I gathered with life long friends from Haverhill at Krueger’s Flatbread Restaurant and enjoyed the seasonably festive atmosphere, good company and let’s not forget the fantastic cuisine.
Mentioned in this article are some of my favorite places to dine. Haverhill has numerous diverse restaurants that will satisfy every palate.

Yes, Haverhill has so much to offer especially its’ “Historic Art District” featuring and fostering the arts of local artists of which I was honored to have received the title “Artist of the Month” in October of 2008 for my art work with authentic sea glass.

One of Haverhill’s treasures is the Buttonwoods Museum which covers much of the shoe industry era, where my grandmother worked as a “shoe stitcher” along side many ancestors from Haverhill. There is also a great deal of coverage of the settlement of Haverhill in 1641 where residents coexisted with the native Pentucket Indian tribe. The scandalous Hannah Dustin abduction and numerous civil war artifacts are also featured at the Buttonwoods Museum.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that Haverhill is home to the great poet John Greenleaf Whittier, whose homestead is still open to visitors.

Yes Haverhill is rich in history, culture, fine dining and great place to visit.

Hi,

I am impressed by the wonderful coverage that was given to our area. I will pick up the magazine in my newstand to fully appreciate the articles.

I was, however, disappointed to find that, after a long and lovely chat with someone from the magazine, there was absolutely no mention of my store on Wingate Street. I had been looking forward to being a part of your publication. And of course it would have been a welcome boon to my business to get the word out about Positive Images Gallery 61.

Ah well...
