We were out of power for 2 days! A big tree fell across our street and hit the power lines. It was very scary thinking the pipes might freeze, along with my family. I feel so bad for people who are still out, and maybe through Christmas. The things we take for granted…. Never again.
Stay warm… Happy Holidays

We were also out of power for two days, which seems minor compared to some of the horror stories I’ve been told. We stayed at the house of some gracious friends on the firt night. Ten minutes after arriving my wife’s car got hit by a neighbor. That was a fun night. We splurged on night two and got a hotel room in Wakefield. After checking in, while at the lobby bar, prior to bringing our luggage to our room, a neighbor called telling us we had power. Oh well….Happy Holidays to all.

Hi this is Cody, I’m on my dad’s favorite site and I thought I would tell my story. We were out of power for a three days with no heat. I was doing my homework and my brother Kyle was walking down the stairs. All of a sudden the power went out and he fell down the stairs. He was okay though. Also two days after the power went off my Dad finally decided to work on the generator all day. As soon as he got it hooked up and ready he looked outside and our neighbors lights were on! The power just went on after his long day. It turned out to be okay and my Grammie stayed with me because her power was off in NH for 5 days.
