Want to be play NFL Youth Flag Football? Registration is now open for the North Shore Flag Football league for boys and girls aged between 5-17 yrs old. Leagues in Peabody, Beverly, Lynn, Danvers, Salem and Revere. Registration is $60 for the season, all equipment is provided.
North Shore Flag Football inc, is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization that promotes and runs NFL youth flag football on the North Shore for boys and girls ages 5-17. In return for your registration fee the NSFFL will present each participant with a official NFL reversible flag football jersey, flag belt, certificate of excellence, trophies for the champions and runner up in each age group, football for the team and organized flag football games for a minimum of 6 weeks. We will also organize the participants into teams that will be coached by volunteers in the community.
The coaches will instruct the participants in the rules of the game and teach the skills of flag football, in an age appropriate manner. Most importantly the coaches will impart to the players the fundamentals of good sportsmanship and fair play. The NSFFL will strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment that is fun, low-stress, low commitment and safe.
The league will operate spring and fall seasons lasting approx 8 weeks, the teams will play one game per week lasting approx 40 mins and practice for an additional one hour per week usually before the game.
