Performers

Tom Gilmore

In addition to nightclubs, cruise ships and corporate events, Tom’s performances at Comedy Festivals have entertained audiences and critics from across the U.S. and Canada. Tom was selected to appear at the Calgary, Alberta Canada “FunnyFest” and Headline the Comedy Fest in Montreal.

After winning the National Lampoon Comedy Competition in Boston, Tom filmed a special for Showtime television with Leslie Neilsen at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas, thus beginning a series of dates at venues including the Stardust, Bally’s Hotel & Casino, the Tropicana, as well as nightspots in Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, and Reno Nevada.

In addition to stage work, Tom was a guest on Gabe Kaplan’s radio show “Sportsnuts” and “Comedy on the Road”. At home in New England, Tom enjoys working with national performers such as Hall & Oates, Jane Oliver and Jimmy Walker.

Rick Beretta

Rick has been doing his brand of comedy since 1983, entertaining audiences at clubs and colleges with his look at everyday situations. His keen eye into what makes us tick and how that translates to comedy is what makes his performances unique. His clean style has landed him jobs on many TV networks including Comedy Central. He has appeared at the Warwick Musical Theatre, Foxwoods, The Mohegan Sun, Hartford’s Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, and the Orpheum Theatre opening for the Temptations, Laurie Morgan and many other national music stars and he is a regular headliner at all New England comedy clubs.

Peter Gross

Peter Gross is that magic ingredient that turns humdrum into hilarious. He’s a entertainer who knows how to bring solid laughs to a group, no matter the field or venue. And with years providing corporate entertainment to major corporations, Peter knows how to be be funny without risque or ‘off-color’ material.

Peter Gross spent years straddling between the worlds of comedy and the workplace and now he’s willing to bring his comic sensibilities to your next event. And he knows that it takes more then a couple of one-liners to make a jaded desk-jockey smile, so he brings a laptop case of fun with him to make sure your event is ‘one of a kind’.

Melissa Mills

Melissa is 19 years old. She is from Peabody, MA, and was the Danvers Family Festival Idol Contest winner for 2011. She is currently attending the University of Massachusetts Lowell as a Music Business major, which she thinks is the best decision she has ever made. It has given her more opportunities than she could have imagined in her young career. As a performer, she has been in many choirs, theater groups, production companies, and competitions. Most recently she performed at the Danvers Fireworks event as a solo singer, as well as with her band, Soft Cactus. It has been a great year for this wonderful homegrown performer, and we welcome her back from our Variety Show of last year. Many of you will remember Melissa’s bold rendition of God Bless America that wowed us all.
