Davio's Lynnfield Hosts Renowned Joseph Carr Winery for a Five-Course Wine Dinner

Join Davio’s Lynnfield for a culinary journey of the most renowned family-owned winery estates dedicated to making world class, handcrafted wines, Joseph Carr Winery. The winery is located in the Carneros, California, bordering both Napa and Sonoma Counties. The Joseph Carr Wine Dinner will feature pairings from Joseph Carr and Josh Cellars with special guest and award-winning Sommelier, Joseph Carr to guide guests through each wine pairing.

Josh Cellars, Joseph’s second label, is a North Coast Vineyard project from sites organically and sustainably farmed. It is dedicated to his father Josh, a former soldier and volunteer fireman. His commitment to his country and community were nothing less than heroic to his son Joseph, inspiring a winemaker to honor his dad the best way he could. Since launching his business in 2005, Joseph Carr’s wines have been featured in some of the finest restaurants in the United States and abroad.

Designed for oenophiles of all levels, Joseph Carr Wine Dinner will feature wine pairings presented by special guest, award winning Sommelier and international wine industry executive, Joseph Carr himself. The dinner will feature regionally inspired foods prepared by Executive Chef Stephen Brown of Davio’s such as Hand-Rolled Ricotta Gnocchi Sautéed Morels, Spring Ramps, Vegetable Brodo and Roasted Rack of Lamb Sweet Pea Barlotto, Rhubarb Agrodolce, Lamb Jus.

This intimate journey will be held at Davio’s on Thursday, April 9th, 2015 at 6:30pm, and for $95 per guest (excluding tax and gratuity), guests will be treated to a five-course dinner paired with carefully selected wines to accompany their dining experience. www.davios.com.
