The Cape Ann Artisans will once again set up shop at the Rockport Art Association for their second Holiday Show. Having just completed its 32nd Annual Open Studios tour, the artisans are ready to welcome the community to view the work “out of the studio” for the second year in a row. To celebrate this special occasion, they will introduce a “Pink Punch” sponsored by Ryan & Wood Distilleries and invite visitors to experience their own artistic version of holiday cheer.

“We had a very positive reception for this show in 2014,” says Pam Stratton, CAA president. “Our regular patrons as well as new ones appreciated the chance to see us together in this highly accessible environment under one roof. It was fun for the artisans as well, to be able to spend time together—something we cannot do during the tour itself.”

Exhibiting artists will include: pottery by Cynthia Curtis, Anni Melançon, Twin Lights, Studio, and Ruth Worrall; jewelry by Jacqueline Ganim-DeFalco, Marcie Rae, and Beth Williams; printed textiles by Camilla MacFadyen; Weaving and knitting by Sara Wright; mosaics by Pam Stratton; painting by Rob Diebboll; and sculpture by Bart Stuyf. Artisans who are not in the show invite the public to visit them in their studios by making an appointment.

The show is planned in collaboration with the popular Shop Rockport’s special evening planned by the merchants for Friday December 4, when the artisans will display and sell their wares. During that time, Rockport Art Association will also be selling its holiday ornaments. Additionally, an exhibit of work by Don Stone will be on view.

Note: Rockport Art Association has a new handicapped entrance that will make navigation easier for shoppers.

December 4 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and December 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
