About Us
Northshore magazine is owned by Andover-based RMS Media Group, Inc. RMS brands include Ocean Home, Luxury Pools, Northshore, and Northshore Home, as well as digital counterparts and a division of signature events. Recognized as 2015’s Best Consumer Regional Publication in the country, Northshore magazine is published 10x per year. In 2016 Northshore launched its shelter title, Northshore Home, which is published in the spring and fall.

Job Description
Works with editor to oversee day-to-day editorial operations of a regional lifestyle publication (10x a year) and a shelter publication (2x a year). Duties include writing and editing stories, and providing content for the web. The managing editor also works with editor on editorial planning and brand strategy.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Excellent writing and copy editing skills
Detail oriented with strong proofreading skills
Manage freelance invoices and contracts
Manage photo contracts
Data entry of comp issues
Fact-check listings that appear in magazine
Compile calendar listings and information for resource pages
Write for web and online newsletters
Source art when needed
Report and write up events for website
Manage advertorials across RMS brands: compile, rewrite, and fact check with company
Update dining guide listings
Job Requirements
College degree in journalism, English or related field
Five years of experience in journalism
Strong web and Indesign skills
Solid reporting and editing skills
Strong magazine production skills
Ability to manage an editorial production process
