PARMA Recordings is a seacoast New Hampshire-based full-service music company with a specialty in classical music. Their work features artists such as Grammy-winner Richard Stoltzman, former New York Philharmonic Concertmaster Glenn Dicterow, and Pete Townshend of The Who. PARMA’s music has been featured in programs from HBO, ABC, CBS, PBS, C-SPAN, and more.
In May 2015, Andover native and CEO of PARMA, Bob Lord, traveled to Cuba to meet with some of the country’s top talent. During his visit he met with various Cuban musicians to determine the viability of recording and producing new music in Havana. The trip was a successful one.
In November 2015, Lord returned to Cuba with American composers and hand-picked Cuban players, engineers, and producers. Together they recorded the double album ABRAZO: THE HAVANA SESSIONS.
The album comes out on June 10 via the Ansonica Records label imprint. Here is the EPK for the product: www.ansonicarecords.com/epk/abrazo
