It’s no surprise that a French bistro–influenced restaurant would top our list for mussels. Gaslight’s moules frites is a luscious bowl of cold-water mussels, steamed in a flavorful mix of white wine, shallots, coriander, and Pernod and served up with a side of hand-cut fries and aioli. Ask for a spoon or use an empty shell to slurp up every last drop of the tasty broth. Helpful servers will be happy to suggest an appropriate libation to accompany your bivalves.
