In the spirit of the holidays, Cliff House Maine in Cape Neddick has curated special menus, festive events and family-friendly activities to indulge in this season. Following a large-scale transformation, the upscale coastal New England resort has remerged with 132 redesigned rooms with panoramic ocean views, regionally infused cuisine, and sea-inspired spa services. This is the first time in the property’s 144-year history guests can spend the winter holidays at Cliff House!
The formerly seasonal resort, which is now open year-round, invites guests to celebrate the holidays with the following events and happenings:
HOLIDAY CHEER FOR THOSE COMING FROM FAR & NEAR
· Elf Tuck-In: Guests can schedule an “elf” to surprise their child on Fridays, Saturdays and of course, Christmas Eve. The Elf will bring a candy present and read a story before wishing the child sweet dreams.
· Holiday Crafts: Cliff House’s on property Elf will lead some of Santa’s favorite holiday crafts to children staying at the resort.
· Cookie Decorating: This holiday cookie decorating activity invites guests to design and then devour, in true cookie monster style.
· Gingerbread House Making: With a selection of gingerbread, gumdrops, candy, frosting and all other “building materials” visitors of all ages can create their very own gingerbread house on Saturdays and Sundays.
· New Year, New You Sunrise Hike: Cliff House invites guests to view the first sunrise of the New Year on Mount Agamenticus. Cliff House recreation team will join in the first steps towards a healthy year.
