Big nights are coming to Boston this fall with the debut of The Grand nightclub and Scorpion Bar Boston in Seaport Square. Since 2006 Big Night Entertainment Group has continually brought New England dining and nightlife to new levels with award winning destinations throughout Boston and Connecticut. The full throttle momentum from BNEG continues with the addition of The Grand and the latest Scorpion Bar concept, both of which are poised to bring unparalleled energy and excitement to the city.
“We couldn’t be more excited to ignite Boston’s nightlife and dining scene with the addition of The Grand and Scorpion Bar Boston,” says Randy Greenstein, Partner of Big Night Entertainment Group. “Our vision for The Grand is to deliver a next-level nightlife experience with extraordinary VIP services and amenities, and an unprecedented entertainment lineup that will bring globally renowned DJs to Boston.”
“We are dedicated to bringing responsible, first class nightlife and exceptional dining to Boston,” says Ed Kane, Partner of Big Night Entertainment Group. “We look forward to introducing these two new concepts to one of the most diverse and creative audiences in the country. We are so lucky to be operating in the City of Boston – our hometown!”
Big Night Entertainment Group has joined forces once again with Niemitz Design Group bringing meticulously designed show-stopping experiences to Seaport Square. The Grand fills a void in Boston’s nightlife scene and is a premiere entertainment destination unlike anything the city has ever seen. The Grand is a cinematic nightlife experience with custom content from NightRide Visuals, the VJ and animation team that also doubles as Steve Aoki’s Visual Manager. The Grand features over 12,000 square feet of space with elements of sophistication and glamour. A state-of-the-art kinetic light system amplifies the energy while a 70-foot LED wall wraps around the dance floor. The beats are pumped through the venue via a custom Funktion-One sound system. The aesthetic is clad in gold and plush tones with leather accents, glass chandeliers, and custom marble tables outfitting the space. The Grand also has VIP areas with private bars and delivers entertainment from the hottest DJ’s, launching Hardwell (10/25), R3HAB (10/27) and Steve Aoki (10/29).
Scorpion Bar Boston is located in the same building as The Grand, one floor below and accessible through the shared glass enclosed staircase. Scorpion Bar Boston is a Mexican cantina that seamlessly transitions from a casual daytime dining destination to an energetic nightlife experience with a built-in DJ booth featuring local talent. The space is over 10,000 square feet and boasts wrought iron open bistro windows, gothic style chandeliers and splashes of bright red reminiscent of Mexico. Scorpion Bar showcases an extensive menu of creative Mexican food such as Apertivos (Loco Papa Fritas, Jalapeno Raviolis, Tomato & Avocado Salad); Apertivos Classicos (Grand Guacamole, Taquitos, Buffalo Chicken Flautas, Pupu Platter); Quesadillas; Fajitas (Three Amigos, Shrimp, Pork); Tacos (Scorpion Chalupa, ‘Hot’ Barbacoa, Crispy Baja Fish); Street Burritos (El Jalapeno BBQ, ‘Screaming’ Scorpion, California); Enchiladas (Chicken, Black Bean & Jalapeno); and Sides (Papas Fritas, Smashed Plantains). Guests can also dig into a selection of decadentDesserts (Churros, Fried Ice Cream, Pina Colada Sorbet). The custom dog bone shaped bar features over 100 selections of 100% agave tequila, including Scorpion Bar Boston’s own barrel, provided exclusively to Scorpion Bar Boston by Avion Tequila. The beverage menu showcases bold and fun cocktails such as Scorpion Bowls and signature Scorpion Bar Boston’s margaritas made with an exclusive margarita mix from Connecticut-based cold-pressed craft juicer, RIPE.
