On Wednesday, January 24, Boston’s award-winning and most popular French brasserie Gaslight Brasserie du Coin is heading to Gloucester’s classic Italian eatery, Tonno, for a special one-night chef pop-up event. Gaslight’s culinary director Michael Zentner and Tonno chef/owner Anthony Caturano will team up for a five-course dinner and wine pairing, blending the unique and authentic French/Italian styles of Gaslight and Tonno, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Having worked together years ago at Gaslight, longtime friends Zentner and Caturano will bring each restaurant’s flavorful fare to this special multi-course menu, paired with the wines curated by local wine guru BZ of Martignetti Liquors. Start the evening with a foie gras torchon, and continue with coursed selections like fluke crudo, rabbit confit agnolotti, Beef bourguignon, and El Ray chocolate tart.
Full menu with ingredients is available below. Tickets are $60 and must be purchased by calling Tonno at 978.879.4795 or emailing Toni@tonnorestaurant.com. Don’t miss the opportunity to sip and savor with two of the industry’s top culinary talents.
