CHOPPS American Bar and Grill is off to the races on May 5 with a Kentucky Derby-inspired contest and signature cocktails to celebrate the fun. Guests can sip on Race Day, CHOPPS’ take on a mint julep, prepared with TinCup American Whiskey and house-made mint simple syrup, or the Citrus Cooler, made with Diamanté tequila, Fruitations Red Rio grapefruit mixer, and Truly Spiked and Sparkling Grapefruit seltzer. Go all out with your look, as the best hat and outfit combo will be awarded an overnight stay at the Boston Marriott Burlington and dinner for two. The runner-up will also receive a complimentary Chef’s Tasting with wine. The contest begins at 5 p.m. until the horses are out of the gates and running!
Citrus Cooler
Lead up to the big moment with selections from CHOPPS’ extensive dinner menu. Start off with their jumbo shrimp cocktail and spicy cocktail dipping sauce or prime beef carpaccio topped with an olive relish and truffle aioli. Experience some of Boston’s best steak with cuts ranging from filet mignon to bone-in ribeye, all served with whipped potatoes and a selection of sauces. Dessert highlights include a decadent ricotta cheesecake and the boozy adult sundae on Bailey’s gelato.
