Boston Harbor Hotel hosts the 20th Annual Summer in the City Series featuring live music from top New England talent and classic movies by moonlight every Tuesday through Friday this summer.
The 20th Annual Summer in the City series returns to Boston Harbor Hotel this June, featuring an all-star lineup of musicians and can’t miss movies by moonlight. Boston Harbor Hotel, Boston’s only five-star waterfront hotel, welcomes Bostonians and visitors to Rowes Wharf this summer season for first class entertainment every Tuesday through Friday evening.
Tuesday through Thursday from 6 – 10 p.m. guests will enjoy live music from the floating barge, featuring Pop Soul Tuesdays, Rat Pack Wednesdays, and Blues Barge Thursdays. The ultimate lineup of top local and regional performers kicks off with Bruce Marshall Band on Thursday, June 7. Notable musicians taking to the barge this summer are Sweet Tooth & The Sugar Babies (June 12), Mike Dutra Strictly Sinatra Band (June 13), Racky Thomas Band (June 21), and many more.
Guests are invited to kick off the weekend with beloved classic films with the one of a kind Movies by Moonlight experience every Friday at dusk. Movies by Moonlight features a beloved classic movie on the outdoor big screen every Friday June 8 – August 31 with a schedule featuring blockbusters like When Harry Met Sally (June 15), Grease (June 29), The Lion King (July 13), Wizard of Oz (July 22), and Hook (August 17).
Acclaimed chef Daniel Bruce welcomes guests to enjoy dinner and a show from the newly updated patio at Rowes Wharf Sea Grille, with picturesque views of Boston Harbor Hotel and a front row seat to the action of Summer in the City. Chef Bruce and the talented team at Boston Harbor Hotel will be offering a variety of summer menu specials including fresh local seafood and seasonal cocktails. The 2018 summer season will welcome new patio updates including a new heating system for chilly summer nights, and new outdoor umbrellas designed to shield guests from sudden showers, so they can still enjoy the show.
