Everyone’s A Player, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping underprivileged youth in the Merrimack Valley participate in sports, will hold its first annual golf tournament at Andover Country Club on May 29, 2012.  All proceeds from the event will go directly toward helping children age 5 – 18 participate in various Merrimack Valley sports programs.
The charity tournament features a 4-person scramble format and costs $200 per golfer, which includes breakfast and lunch. Registration and breakfast start at 6:45 am and the tournament kicks off with a 7:30 am shotgun start. The tournament will also feature putting and driving contests and include an array of raffle prizes that will be given away during the event.
Generous contributions from a variety of local businesses are helping to make this event possible. Lowell General Hospital is a title sponsor of the event and North Andover Soccer Association (NASA) is the premier sponsor. Also sponsoring the tournament are All Care Laser Center, Blue Dog, Cakes By Design, Cedardale, Cincotta Landscape & Design, Coldwell Banker (Gretchen Papineau and Margus Deery), Daigle LLC, Downer Brothers Landscaping, Elements Therapeutic Massage, Engineering Service Corp, Jamie’s Restaurant, Mosquito Squad, Passport Pilates and TSR Hockey.
“We are grateful to all of our sponsors who are helping to make this important event happen,” says Tracy Sportelli, director of Everyone’s A Player. “Their tremendous support, along with many local families who have donated to this event, will help us to get more kids on the field and make a positive impact on the community.”

About Everyone’s A Player
Everyone’s A Player (EAP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers assistance to low income and underprivileged youth in the Merrimack Valley to enable them to participate in organized sporting programs, and be exposed to higher levels of play with specialized camps, clinics and club level teams. The organization’s goal is to help families overcome the financial obstacles that may prevent youth involvement in sports and provide opportunities for children, through organized sports programs, to lead active, healthy lives, develop fundamental skills and make a positive contribution to the community. To learn more about EAP, visit us at on Facebook.
