Himmel Hospitality Group is pleased to introduce Executive Chef Peter Agostinelli and General Manager Greg Dickinson to the team at Grill 23 & Bar. Veterans in the hospitality industry, Agostinelli and Dickinson ignite a fresh dynamic and modern vision to Boston’s famed steakhouse. While dedicated to honoring the traditions that have made Grill 23 Boston’s premiere steakhouse, the duo introduces new elements to take the restaurant to an even greater level of hospitality.
Chef Agostinelli brings more than 20 years of experience and a finely-honed skill set in leadership and culinary expertise to Grill 23. A New England-native, Agostinelli began his career in some of Boston’s best restaurants including Chef Todd English’s Olives Group, where he rose from Sous Chef, to Executive Sous Chef and ultimately Executive Chef. Agostinelli continued his career at the critically-acclaimed Bedford Village Inn and Restaurant in Bedford, New Hampshire. There he grew to be Executive Chef at the AAA Four-Diamond Rated dining hotspot before also serving as the Executive Chef for three years at the Exeter Inn’s Epoch Restaurant and Bar in Exeter, New Hampshire. Agostinelli returned to Bedford Village Inn as Executive Chef with new techniques and global flavors to enhance the menu.

Leading the front of house at Grill 23 is Greg Dickinson, who joins as General Manager. Dickinson is a hospitality veteran who brings a wealth of experience through his time spent in some of Boston’s best restaurants and various certifications in wine studies. His focus is to continue incredible guest connection and personable service to ensure the finest dining experience. Dickinson completed the wine studies program at Boston University and certification through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in New York. A well-known fixture throughout his career at Frank McClellan’s L’Espalier, he worked in a variety of positions including Captain, Sommelier, Administrative, Maître d’, Bartender, and Events Manager. In 2012, Dickinson joined the Aquitaine Group as Assistant General Manager at Gaslight Brasserie du Coin before being promoted to General Manager of Aquitaine’s Union Bar & Grille. Dickinson returned to Gaslight as General Manager in 2015 until being promoted to Regional General Manager for the Aquitaine Group in 2017.
