Houseboats at Newburyport introduces a third houseboat just in time to finish the busy summer season.
The new boat called Harborside will be moored at Newburyport’s Harbor Marina on the scenic Merrimack River. Like its two sister boats, Dockside and Riverside, Harborside has two outside decks (one upper and one lower), a bedroom with a queen-size bed and full bathroom, a living room with pullout sofa, a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave and dining area, as well as amenities such as cable TV and free WiFi.
Also new just this summer, Riverside is docked at the nearby Hilton Marina. It has a similar floor plan and is fully air-conditioned, while the original Dockside offers a front row view of the harbor with its beautiful yachts and bobbling boats.
Guests of Houseboats by Newburyport soak in the maritime history of one of the most charming villages on the Massachusetts coastline. Just 35 miles north of Boston, the Harbor is a stroll from boutiques, restaurants with outdoor dining such as Michael’s Harborside and its Bloody Mary Bar, New England culture and attractions of Newburyport including the Custom House Maritime Museum and Market Square. Also nearby are the beaches of popular Plum Island, the island’s historic lighthouse and a beautiful wildlife refuge.
Ideal for reunions of family and friends (guests must be over 25 years old), the houseboats are an economical option with rates starting at $229 per night (for up to four people).
