Join the city of Boston in celebrating Pride month tomorrow. With the Pride parade on Saturday, June 8, these Boston businesses are pulling out all the stops for a Pride-filled weekend. Here are the highlights.
B/SPOKE
On Saturday, June 8, participants can get in the PR/DE spirit at The Revolution Hotel with classes and a party hosted by Boston’s fitness and lifestyle brand, B/SPOKE. Led by instructor Kara Lennon, TRAIN X classes will be offered at both 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., followed by an after-party with refreshing drinks, light bites, and a live DJ. With the Revolution Hotel on the parade route in the South End, it’s a fun and easy way to commence the PR/DE festivities.
B/SPOKE’s newest class, TRAIN X, is a high intensity cardio workout that blends the best elements of TRAIN with a new Total Body HIIT section, half on-the-beat and half off-the-beat of the music. A ticket to the event includes one TRAIN X class, light bites, and a cash bar for alcoholic beverages. A percentage of ticket sales will be donated to BAGLY, a youth-led, adult-supported social support organization committed to social justice, and creating, sustaining, and advocating for programs, policies, and services for the LGBTQ+ youth community.
The admission is $25. For more information or to purchase tickets, please click here.
City Winery
City Winery will be hosting a Pride Party on Saturday, June 8 at Boston’s first and only outdoor wine garden. Guests can enjoy live music and a complimentary Pride Cookie with every glass of wine purchased. City Winery on the Greenway is located at Dewey Square in downtown Boston, and serves locally crafted wine on tap and a variety of reds, whites and rosé all season long. City Winery also offers beers and ciders from neighbor Harpoon, and for those who want to nosh on bites, they serve a Mediterranean-inspired menu of charcuterie, cheeses, olives and nuts. The weather calls for sunshine and warm temps this weekend, and City Winery on the Greenway will be open Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Beehive
Brews and views are the theme once again at The Beehive in celebration of the Boston Pride Parade. Located along the parade route and tucked inside the Boston Center for the Arts patio, the South End’s spot for brunch, dinner, al fresco dining, and live music hosts their third annual Pride Beer Garden. From 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., parade-goers can sip on Harpoon’s seasonal brews and munch on The Beehive’s signature dishes while taking in the festivities all day long.
From 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., guests dining al fresco can enjoy signature brunch dishes prepared by Executive Chef Phil Lewis, like Blueberry & Ricotta Pancakes with crème Chantilly or Avocado Toast with roasted beets, pomegranate, jalapeno pesto and fried egg. Evening menu selections include Atlantic Salmon and Mixed Spring Vegetable Curry.
Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling The Beehive at (617) 423-0069.
