Tonno
Gloucester
You might just find some of the captains from the TV show Wicked Tuna here feasting on—what else—tuna! Tonno is Italian for “tuna,” and chef/owner Anthony Caturano himself fishes on his days off, hauling in his own catch at the wholesaler across from the restaurant, where he also buys his pristine provisions. It’s all delicious, from the grilled swordfish to the daily crudo preparation—and, of course, the Tonno TarTar; the restaurant buys whole tuna and butchers it in-house.
