What are the BONS Wedding Awards?
From cake tastings to dress fittings to venue selections, the wedding planning process can be intimidating! To celebrate the North Shore experts who make wedding dreams a reality, Northshore magazine launched the annual “Best of the North Shore” (BONS) Wedding Awards. The results will be featured in the January/February 2021 Wedding + Travel issue! We have six categories—attire, beauty, details, menu, setting, and the plan—and 40+ subcategories.
Who can be nominated?
Any commercial business based on the North Shore of Boston specializing in one of our 40+ wedding award subcategories. Only local businesses or locally owned, independent franchises are eligible for a nomination and award.
How did you pick your nominees?
Our panel of editors and executives select based on research and knowledge of the North Shore wedding industry. All nominees from the 2020 ballot are on the 2021 ballot. New nominations are open through September 30, 2020. There is a $25 processing fee to be added to the ballot. Nominate your business here.
How long is voting open?
Voting begins September 5, 2020 and continues through October 15, 2020. Only one vote per email address is allowed.
Can I promote my nomination?
Yes, you may promote your nomination as a BONS Wedding Awards nominee. However, any discounts or special offers in exchange for a vote could result in disqualification. When will I be notified who won?
Winners will be announced in the 2021 January/February Wedding + Travel issue. There will not be advance winner notification.
