Privateer Rum
Ipswich
Who takes a beloved product garnering national attention and does away with it? A place where the very best is the only option. When quality issues popped up regarding the brown sugar that goes into their Privateer Silver and True American Amber, they decided to stop using sugar—and stop making those products. So snap them up while you can; the remaining stock will be gone before the end of the year. In the meantime, head distiller Maggie Campbell and her team are working exclusively with Grade A molasses—an ingredient that has been going into their Distiller’s Drawer series for a while—to whip up some new rums sure to please.
