Every February, Salem spends three days celebrating the glistening beauty of ice sculptures and the decadent pleasures of chocolate. More than 20 sculptures are scattered throughout town; this year’s art included a glowing cat, a sailboat, and a pair of kissing fish. Restaurants and retailers offer chocolate samplings, special discounts, themed desserts, and even chocolate fountains.
