At her farm in Beverly, Beverly Bees, biologist Anita Deeley, a former state bee inspector, sells 20-plus kinds of micro-batch wildflower honeys from 100-plus area hives, along with beeswax candles and body products. This summer Deeley will open a Beverly Bees shop in downtown Salem’s Derby Square filled with her bee-related goods, along with a demonstration candle-making area and glassed-in live bee exhibit.

Carolyn’s Farm Kitchen
HAVERHILL
After years of working for local farms crafting baked goods from the bounty of their harvests, Carolyn Grieco founded Carolyn’s Farm Kitchen in order to sell her line of dry baking mixes, such as the wildly popular baked Cider Donut Baking Mix. They’re available online, along with her granola and small-batch fruit jams, jellies, and preserves, as well as at local farmers’ markets (mainly Haverhill) and area farms and food shops.
