Appleton Farms, Ipswich
Appleton Farms is one of the oldest continually operating farms in the country, and today, its CSA can keep you in farm-fresh products nearly year round. Its summer/fall shares offers fresh, hyper-local produce, flowers, herbs, and other farm products, as well as perks, like “pick-your-own” green beans and other items, as well as a winter vegetable share in November and December. The farm’s meat share runs from fall to spring and includes 45 pounds of Trustees Grown, 100% grass-fed beef and lamb, pasture-raised pork and chicken; an optional egg add-on; and goat by request.
