Owner Mike Schifino intended to become a landlord, but after buying a property that housed a defunct ice cream shop, his career took a very sweet turn. Now his decadent 16 percent butterfat recipes have won a bevy of awards—including a Flavor of the Year nod from the North American Ice Cream Association for “Ritzy AF,” a salted butter cracker ice cream base loaded with house-made Ritz Cracker toffee bark.
