Do you want to appear in an Adam Sandler film?
New Hampshire native Adam Sandler is going to be spending quite a bit of time on the North Shore this summer for his new Netflix movie Hubie Halloween. Filming will take place between July 8 and August 30 in Danvers as well as other spots around the region.
According to the Observer the film revolves around good-natured but eccentric community volunteer Hubie Dubois played by Sandler who finds himself at the center of a real murder case on Halloween night. Despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts, and its legendary Halloween celebration, Hubie is a figure of mockery for kids and adults alike. But this year, something really is going bump in the night, and it’s up to Hubie to save Halloween.
Happy Madison, Adam Sandler’s production company, has an open casting call this Saturday. Producers will look for actors, models and talent between the ages of 5 and 95 and “all shapes/sizes” 9am to 6pm at the Marblehead Community Center at 10 Humphrey Street in Marblehead.
The theme is, of course, Halloween. And the casting agents encourage you to come in original costumes, find more information right here.
