Nicole Ablitt, owner and president of Petite Étoile, knows baby clothes: She just gave birth to her sixth child this spring. “There are so many casual boutiques around,” she says. “I wanted something that people could get and not another child would have it on.” She has accomplished just that at Petite Étoile, a boutique that carries high-end baby and children’s clothing from designers like Fendi, Stella McCartney, and Chloé, as well as products from exclusive brands like Bella Bundles. “I give to the North Shore what they couldn’t even get in Boston, and yet it’s local for them,” says Ablitt.
