Barrel House American Bar

When the Barrel House opened, it immediately set the standard for a proper cocktail on the North Shore. Everything from specialty ice to vintage glassware to a curated selection of both global and local spirits make each drink an experience worth savoring. The cocktail menu is organized by Tried and True classics, unique House Creations, bubbly Sparklers, and Barrel-Aged Cocktails and Spirits so choosing can be tough, but the knowledgeable and approachable bar staff is happy to help. An oversized bar ensures every seat is a front-row show so you’ll often end up being inspired to try what your neighbor is sipping. (Tip: Splurge on the ice ball for any on-the-rocks drink.)

The Black Cow
?“I’m definitely a fan of the décor at the Black Cow—it’s clean, modern, and sufficiently (not excessively) upscale. The back deck is in great shape. The bar is fairly big and the tap list is large and diverse. It’s an excellent place to be when the weather is nice. I came as part of a pub crawl…the crowd was widely mixed…and everyone seemed to get along well.” –Nick
