MARBLEHEAD – April 8, 2009 – The Marblehead Arts Association hosted a Chamber Business After Hours Event at their location in the King Hooper Mansion, located at 8 Hooper Street, Marblehead.

Marblehead Arts Association Executive Director Deborah Greel welcomed Chamber members, guests and fellow MAA Board members to a reception upstairs at the King Hooper Mansion where The Green Show: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle is currently on display. The exhibit, a collaboration between the MAA and the Salem Arts Association, features works of art using recycled materials and found objects.  The Green Show theme creates an opportunity for artists to express different aspects of nature and the environment. Diverse work throughout the Hooper represent both nature at its best, as conveyed in landscapes, seascapes and pristine vistas as well as that which is detrimental to nature and the environment. The exhibit will be on display through April 26th, 2009. Chamber members and guests had the opportunity to mingle and network over refreshments while enjoying the exhibit.
