The Topsfield Fair, running September 30 – October 10, 2016 has announced that entertainment legend Frankie Avalon will be performing a free concert, with paid fair admission, in the Grandstand on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
Frankie Avalon’s years as a “Teenage Idol” have been succeeded by maturity and professionalism. He is currently one of the busiest nightclub performers in the country, playing the nation’s finest supper clubs and headlining top Las Vegas Hotel main rooms.
Avalon has a long string of gold record million-seller singles and albums, including: “Venus,” “Why,” “Just Ask Your Heart,” “I’ll Wait for You,” “Bobby Sox to Stockings,” and “A Boy Without a Girl.” He will perform many of his hits on the Grandstand stage.
Ticket prices for the 2016 Topsfield Fair are $11.00 each September 30, October 3-6 and $15.00 each on October 7, weekends, and Columbus Day (October 10). Discount admission tickets are available at www.topsfieldfair.org through September 26, 2016. General Admission discount tickets can be purchased for only $9.00, which are good any day during the Fair’s 11-day run. A three-day pass, good any three days, is available for $25.00. Children under eight with an adult are free. Discounted food vouchers and ride tickets are also available when purchased in advance at www.topsfieldfair.org.
