MRFRS “Ups the Fun” for its Annual Strut for Strays Pledge Walk

Strut for Strays is The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society’s unique fundraiser walk that attracts both cat and dog lovers. A 3-mile walk around Newburyport’s downtown and waterfront, walkers are encouraged to bring their dogs. All monies raised go to support cats in need.
WCVB-TV’s Randy Price will kick off the walk at 1:30 p.m., but booths and activities open at 11:00 a.m.
Event activities include: live music by super popular Soul Robot, a pet costume contest, pet caricature, face painting, pet and people massage, dog rescues, pet communicators, and other booths and activities designed for family and pet fun.
