Executive chef Richard Doucette and his team have unveiled their specially crafted menu for Easter Sunday brunch. The day’s festivities will begin with the hotel’s annual Easter egg hunt and a guest appearance by the Easter Bunny.
Visitors and local residents are sure to work up an appetite after searching for hidden treasures on the grounds of Harbor View Hotel during its annual Easter Egg Hunt. After the morning’s merriments, including a visit by the Easter Bunny himself, guests can indulge in the best of the Vineyard’s seasonal bounty at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Lighthouse Grill, which will prepare a prix fixe brunch menu starting at 10 a.m.
A few highlights include: island harvested oysters & chilled shrimp cocktail; smoked salmon & bluefish pâté, chilled English pea soup, country ham eggs Benedict, slow roasted prime rib; butternut squash & sweet potato casserole, bananas foster French toast and Chef’s Assortment of Quiche en Croûte. The feast will also offer a selection of artisanal breads, bagels, croissants, breakfast pastries, muffins and other sweet treats. The full menu is available online.
