The 22nd annual Hospice Auction and Regatta will take place at The Boston Yacht Club in Marblehead on June 17, 2016. Proceeds support Care Dimensions’ mission to provide comprehensive and compassionate support for children and adults affected by advanced illness and loss.
This year’s signature artwork, Memories of Marblehead, is a 24”x36” painting made with brous pulp and handmade paper in a process pioneered by Topsfield Artist Meg Black. Black’s seascape vantage starts on the edge of Marblehead’s rocky shoreline gazing to the horizon, which lies in between the changing skies and crashing waves. A vibrant regatta adds some playfulness in the distance. The artwork will be on display at Arnould Gallery and Framery in Marblehead in the weeks prior to the auction. Proxy Bids may be placed by contacting Care Dimensions.
