Elegant, luxurious, beautiful, and fun all wrapped up into one. The new Jaguar Land Rover dealership was recently christened with a ribbon cutting from Mayor Bettencourt and a full house of nearly 300 guests. The state-of-the-art facility, red carpet treatment, a cigar roller and a musical trio made the night one to remember. Multiple North Shore vendors supported the opening: Long’s Jewelers showcased their magnificent timepieces and diamonds, Ryan & Wood Distillers served up tasty spirits, and J. Hilburn contributed custom-style design elements. Several items were raffled off including a signed Gronkowski framed image, tickets to the Bruins, $200 to Jaguar Land Rover, $150 to J. Hilburn, and a gift basket from Ryan & Wood. Additionally, Lyon-Waugh gifted $15,000 to the Peabody Education Foundation. This contribution will provide teachers with Best Bet grants to continue the program of providing enrichment directly to the classroom.
A significant investment was made in the new facility and to support the image that both Jaguar and Land Rover demand. Some features of the $10-million showroom include: an expansion of the existing indoor area; a service-drive and shop addition along with added space from the old Napa, West Marine back warehouse; the parking lot has increased by 25 percent; room enough to house both Jaguar and Land Rover; expansive inventory; special amenities to make the shopping experience pleasurable in this must-visit new showroom.
