Northshore magazine and By the Sea Sotheby’s International Realty’s Annual Winter Gala was a festive affair last evening. Held at a beautiful private stone manse in Gloucester, guests were greeted at the entryway by Voices of Hope singing traditional Christmas carols. Upon entering the traditional and welcoming New England interiors, the rooms were aglow with soft candles and twinkling lights on Christmas trees. Evergreen boughs and seasonal white and green floral arrangements designed by Luna Moss filled the elegant tables and mantels. A three-piece jazz ensemble entertained guests inside while Vinwood Caterers served holiday hor’s d’oeuvre and Prosecco—signature cocktails were also on hand. Outside a tent was transformed into a winter wonderland setting where the DJ kept the dance floor moving all night. Vinwood set up a delicious raw bar dessert stations for partygoers.
The Charity of Choice for the Evening was Gloucester’s Open Door, a 37-year-old nonprofit that serves the area’s most vulnerable population in the fight against hunger. To raise funds for the charity, Tesoro Boston donated a $3,200 necklace to be raffled off at the end of the night.
