The Northeast Arc’s ArcWorks Community Art Center is hosting a new exhibit by talented artist Kevin Kusiolek of Lowell, Mass.  The show titled “Sense of Place” will run from December 9th through January 23rd.  The exhibit will open with an artist reception on Friday, December 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the ArcWorks Community Art Gallery at 22 Foster Street in Peabody.  

 

Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served during the opening night Artist Reception. The facility is handicapped accessible.

 

About the Artist:

Kevin Kusiolek received a BS in Studio Art from Towson University.  He has achieved numerous awards for his artwork including:

  • 2010- Doris H. and Raymond L. Markley Scholarship- Painting Award, Towson University
  • Juried Student Exhibition
  • 2010- Second Place- Columbia Scholastic Press Association, Single Illustration: Color
  • 2009- William Drenner Painting Award- Towson University Juried Student Exhibition
  • 2007- President’s Award- Howard Community College Student Exhibition
  • 2006-President’s Award- Howard Community College Student Exhibition
  • 2004- Maryland Board of Education Honor’s Award, Maryland Board of Education
