A Parisian bistro nestled in Boston’s South End neighborhood, Aquitaine is the perfect spot for holiday festivities. Romantic yet bustling with energy, this Boston staple offers French cuisine that stands the test of time. On December 24th, 2016 enjoy à la carte specials prepared by Chef de Cuisine Bob Krajewski from 5:00PM to 9:00PM such as Truffle and Egg Yolk Ravioli ($18.95) and Roti Aqneau Longe ($40.95) with cardoon gratin, nicoise olives and preserved tomato and eggplant caponata.
On New Year’s Eve toast to 2016 with dishes that include Honey Roasted Duck with chestnut speatzle, delicata squash and slow cooked savoy cabbage ($30.95) available from 5:00PM to 11:00PM. Aquitaine will open its doors once again for brunch on New Year’s Day, 2017, from 10:00AM to 3:00PM, as well as for regular dinner service. To keep the holidays going on January 2nd, Aquitaine is hosting brunch from 10:00AM to 3:00 PM as well as regular dinner service. This Mediterranean café is The Aquitaine Group’s premier location. With its romantic and cozy atmosphere, this hidden gem is the quintessential spot to toast to a new year of memories. On December 24th, 2016 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, savor classic dishes prepared by Chef de Cuisine Dolly Bourommavong, such as Pan Seared Cocoa Crusted Venison with celeriac puree, roasted rainbow carrots, mushrooms and madeira sauce ($33.95).
On December 31st, 2016, enjoy standout dishes such as Seared Filet Mignon with king oyster mushrooms, haricot verts, bone marrow mashed potatoes and sauce perigueux ($35.95). Metropolis Café will be open for their popular brunch service as well as regular dinner service on New Year’s Day, January 1st, 2017, and will be closed for service on Monday, January 2nd, 2017 to allow their staff time with their families. Step onto the beautifully lit streets of Rome at Cinquecento, a Roman trattoria with Chef de Cuisine Justin Winters at the helm. Suburban sister to Gaslight Brasserie, Gaslight Lynnfield, located in the market street community, has Chef de Cuisine Steven Morlino preparing flavorful dishes for Boston’s suburbs. On December 24th, 2016 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, guests can enjoy specials that include Plancha Seared Gulf Shrimp with tomato, white wine, and charred Meyer lemon ($18) and Seven Fishes Christmas Eve “Cioppino” with moosebec mussels, Wellfleet clams, cod and gulf shrimp, scallops, calamari and swordfish with white wine broth and garlic rubbed crostini ($36), as well as à la carte options on New Year’s Eve, December 31st, 2016 from 5:00PM to 11:00PM that include Roasted Rack of Lamb with Dijon-herb crust, potatoes au gratin, roasted shallots, shitakis and red wine reduction ($44).

La Motta’s Italian Specialties
La Motta’s is the Aquitaine Group’s modern Italian osteria located in the heart of SoWa Boston. On December 24th, 2016 enjoy à la carte specials from 5:00PM to 9:00PM such as Baccala Fritto with lemon and rosemary ($8.50) and Grilled Lamb Leg with mint salsa verde, garlic puree and baby turnips ($27).

Aquitaine Dedham & Aquitaine Chestnut Hill
Both sister restaurants to the original Aquitaine Bar á Vin Bistrot, these dining destinations offer specials for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. At the Chestnut Hill location on Christmas Eve, prepared by Chef de Cuisine Robert Morotto, dishes will include plates such as Hubbard Squash Bisque with roasted pears, chestnuts, toasted sage ($10.95), and Roasted Venison with salsify puree, swiss chard, spiced blackberry compote ($38.95). On New Year’s Eve in Chestnut Hill Conlin will be preparing items such as Lobster Bisque, knuckle meat, vanilla bean Chantilly and fried basil ($13.95), and Pan Seared Angus Ribeye with foie gras butter, roasted root vegetables with wilted citrus arugula ($39.95).
At the Dedham location on Christmas Eve, Chef de Cuisine Josh Clark will prepare special dishes that include Beef Short Rib Raviolo with burgundy truffles, horseradish crema and red wine sauce ($18.95), as well as Painted Hills Prime Rib with Yorkshire pudding, creamed spinach, horseradish and jus lie ($34.95). On New Year’s Eve, enjoy Cumin Spiced Leg of Lamb with apricot stuffing, parma ham, potato Gratin, roasted broccolini and natural jus ($32.95), among other à la carte specials.
On December 24th, 2016, both will be open for brunch from 11:30AM to 3:00PM and then for dinner from 5:00PM to 9:00PM. Both will also be open December 26th for lunch from 11:30AM to 3:00PM and dinner from 5:30PM to 10:00PM. On December to 31st, 2016 they will be open 4:00PM to 11:00PM.
