Matt Andersen Performance at Shalin Liu Performance Center

As a prelude to the summer music season, Shalin Liu Performance Center will host acclaimed Canadian musician Matt Andersen on Friday, May 6.

Known for his commanding voice and emotionally resonant songwriting, Andersen brings a blend of blues, folk, and gospel to his performances.  Over the years, he has built a loyal international following through his compelling stage presence, whether performing solo with his acoustic guitar or fronting a full band.  His return to Rockport offers an early taste of the high-caliber talent that regularly appears at the seaside venue that locals love.
